NEET adalah kepanjangan dari Not in Education, Employment or Training.
Awal mulanya kenal istilah ini dari anime 'Hataraku Maou-sama!' di situ si Lucifernya kejebak di dunia manusia dan jadi NEET dengan nama Urushihara. Dalam cerita, Urushihara bukan peran utama sih, cuma ya gitu kerjaannya ndekem di apartemen sama internetan terus tanpa ada kegiatan lain yang ke luar rumah (selain itu dia jadi benalu-nya Maou selaku peran utama hihihi).

Peran utamanya, Satou, adalah seorang NEET. Ceritanya waktu sekolah dia gak pinter bersosialisasi dan punya krisis percaya diri (seems like that), terus dia jadi menarik diri dan ndekem di apartemennya selama 3 tahun (nyaris empat tahun) sampe umurnya 22th.
